Video of my message to Liberty University: “Facing the Fire: Standing For Christ In An Age of Evil.” When it comes to the Holocaust, we say “Never again.” Yet America has aborted 55 million babies. Is darkness not falling? Is judgment not coming? What do we think will happen?

Rosenberg-LibertyOn Friday, March 21st, I had the honor of addressing more than 10,000 students at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia with a message titled, “Facing The Fire: Standing For Christ In An Age of Evil.”

(To watch the 29 minute message, please click here.)

Opening with Daniel chapter three, I shared the biblical story of three Jewish men — Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego — who were thrown in a fiery furnace by an evil tyrant because they refused to bow down a worship a false god.

Sharing some lessons from the Holocaust, I shared several true stories of the real heroes — Jewish and Christian — who inspired the novel, The Auschwitz Escape

Then, noting that “darkness is falling” in Iran, North Korea, China, Russia and around the world, I also urged these students to love God and love their neighbors and stand boldly and courageously for Jesus Christ and the Word of God, no matter what the cost.

One of the most important elements of the message, for me personally, was reminding the students that in my lifetime, Americans have aborted 55 million babies. If this is not stopped, in the next few years, Americans will have murdered 60 million people.

“Consider the implications of that number,” I told them. “That will mean that Americans will have killed ten times more people than the number of Jews that the Nazis murdered during the Holocaust.”

We know the judgment that came upon Nazi Germany because of what they did, I noted. What do we think is going to happen to America?

Unless we repent, America will be judged. Unless we change course and God grants us mercy and forgiveness, America will implode. It’s only God’s grace that He hasn’t judged us already. I made it clear to the students that I don’t know when that judgment will come. That said, all the evidence suggests we are overdue.

We must study the Word of God and draw lessons from the stories of Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego. We must also study the Holocaust and draw lessons from the stories of the heroes like Rudolf Vrba, Fred Wetzler, Pastor Andre Trocme and others. But we must also look deeply into our souls and determine whether we are willing to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, and love our neighbors as ourselves. Are we willing to love and protect and rescue the needy and the poor and the suffering, even if they don’t believe what we believe, even if they never choose to follow Christ? Are we willing to resist the evil tyrants of our day? Will we refuse to bow down to false gods and humanist systems, even if we are imprisoned, tortured or executed?

The lessons from the Book of Daniel, and the lessons from the Holocaust, are not ancient history that have no bearing on our lives in our times. Evil is rising today. We, too, will face the fire, and the question is: Will we bow before Nebuchadnezzar’s golden image, or will we stand for Christ and His Word?

Al Gore has a very special message for the citizens of Atlanta

The science is settled…

Al Gore is a climate grifter.

As Anthony Watts notes, “There’s never been any assertion that climate didn’t change — the idea that somehow this is something new to the 21st century is absurd. And, as science itself has demonstrated through history, it is never settled, it is always searching for new information, retesting, and sometimes discarding old ideas. Saying the science is settled is as ridiculous as the famous quote attributed to Lord Kelvin who said in 1900 ‘There is nothing new to be discovered in physics now.’”

Thus far, I’ve identified three segments of the population that cling to the notion of anthropogenic (man-made) global warming: nitwits, criminals and Marxists. But I repeat myself.

A Message to Obama: “Being Black Isn’t Your Problem… The Problem Is You Suck!” *Video*

One of our favorite commentators on politics and global happenings is back with his latest diatribe, and as is usually the case, he’s right on target.

This week Bob at Drinking with Bob takes aim at President Obama’s recent comments in an interview with The New Yorker in which he made the claim that one of the main reasons his popularity is sinking is because he is black and some Americans haven’t gotten over that.

Here is the excerpt of the interview to which Bob responds in the following video:

Obama’s election was one of the great markers in the black freedom struggle. In the electoral realm, ironically, the country may be more racially divided than it has been in a generation. Obama lost among white voters in 2012 by a margin greater than any victor in American history.

The popular opposition to the Administration comes largely from older whites who feel threatened, underemployed, overlooked, and disdained in a globalized economy and in an increasingly diverse country. Obama’s drop in the polls in 2013 was especially grave among white voters. “There’s no doubt that there’s some folks who just really dislike me because they don’t like the idea of a black President,” Obama said.

“There is a historic connection between some of the arguments that we have politically and the history of race in our country, and sometimes it’s hard to disentangle those issues.”

There is no doubt that there are those who dislike Barack Obama because he is black. Likewise, there are plenty of African Americans who dislike white politicians simply because of the color of their skin. Welcome to earth, what else is new?

But for President Obama to make this claim is not only disingenuous, but is a complete deflection to steer the American people away from his failures and to pit us against each other by once again throwing out the race card..

Barack Obama became President of the United States because half of the country voted for him. And he knows very well that a large portion of those voters were white. In recent weeks we’ve seen his poll numbers collapse to a 39% approval rating, suggesting that many who supported him during the elections have lost faith.

If we are to believe the President, then that 10% drop in approval was a result of the anti-black racists?

When they voted for a (half) black man for President it was a “fundamental transformation” for America. What’s troubling is that when those very same people who put him in office disapprove of his performance, President Obama claims they are doing so because of the color of his skin?

His complete failure in everything he’s touched – from health care to foreign policy – couldn’t possibly be the reason, right?

Bob weighs in:

Stop using the color of your skin as an excuse for your failures. Being black isn’t your problem. The problem is you suck, bro. You friggin’ suck.

Previously from Bob (because sometimes one video isn’t enough): “What was Obama Doing at Harvard… Parkin’ Friggin Cars?”
