Rancher Cliven Bundy Speaks: “I Don’t Recognize Them Having Any Jurisdiction or Authority Over This Land” *Video*

Update: [16:00 PST] – This video interview follows reports that up to 5,000 militia members are on their way to Nevada to stand with the Bundy family against massive government overreach. Earlier today Bundy family members and friends broke through the Federal blockade to rescue cattle stuck behind enemy lines.

The man at the center of the dispute, rancher Cliven Bundy, joins Infowars‘ David Knight and Steve Quayle for an exclusive interview to discuss developments at Bunkerville, Nevada where there are now at least 300 Federal law enforcement agents surrounding the Bundy ranch.

According to Cliven Bundy, what’s at issue is that the US government has no right to call the shots over the land, as dictated by the 10th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

Mr. Bundy also notes that he and those arriving in the area are prepared to do whatever it takes to maintain their sovereignty.

The first thing we need to make clear is – who owns this land? That’s really not clear. We have a federal judge that says the United States owns this land. We have the United States Constitution that says Nevada owns this land.

So this is where I’m at… Let’s talk about my grazing fee… who am I supposed to pay my grazing fee to? Constitutional sovereignty of Nevada that owns this land?

No. The one I get the grazing fee bill from is the United States government.

I don’t recognize them having any jurisdiction or authority over this land.

I do not have a contract with the United States government.

…I urge you, read the Constitution. Those founding fathers laid out how we’re supposed to act. They have all the answers already laid out for us. Why don’t we live that Constitution and be happy in America?

I know what I’m going to do. I’m going to do whatever it takes. The public and the protesters here… I think are ready to do whatever it takes, too.

In other words, this thing’s not gonna’ get over tomorrow. We’re going to fight until we win this and get our public lands back.

British Prime Minister David Cameron, on his first state visit to Israel, spoke about his Jewish relatives and about how seriously he takes the history of the Holocaust.

He visited Yad Vashem on Wednesday, the Israeli Holocaust museum and research center.

During his address to the Knesset, Cameron also announced that he will be visiting the Auschwitz death camp in southern Poland later this year, and said, “I want every child in Britain to learn about the Holocaust and to understand just how vital it is to fight discrimination and prejudice in our world.”

Excerpts from an interesting address:

One of the most moving experiences I have had as Prime Minister came in January this year, when I held a reception in Downing Street for 50 Survivors of the Sho’ah. ‪I met some of the most inspiring people and heard some of the most incredible stories.‬‬

‪People like Harry Spiro who couldn’t understand why his mother pushed him out of her house and off to the factory, when she was actually saving his life.‬

‪Gena Turgel, who witnessed her brother being shot by the Nazis and lost another brother and two sisters before she was eventually liberated from Bergen-Belsen and went on to marry the British soldier who freed her.‬

‪And Ben Helfgott who endured 3 years in a ghetto, 2 labour camps and 3 concentration camps to make it to England where he was reunited with one of his sisters, the only other member of his family to survive. Ben went on to represent Britain as a weightlifter in 2 Olympics set up a society for Holocaust survivors and was honoured in Poland for his reconciliation work between Poles and Jews. And I am delighted that Ben has come with me here today.‬

‪All of the survivors have made such an incredible contribution to Britain.‬

‪And one of the things so many of them have done – and which never ceases to amaze me – is to go into our schools and share their testimony first hand.‬

‪It is hard to imagine the sheer strength of humanity it must take to do that.‬

‪‪And I am determined that long after they are gone and long after we are all gone their memory will be as strong and vibrant as it is today.‬‬

‪As a father, I will never forget last year visiting the Holocaust Memorial in Berlin with my young children and for the first time trying to explain to them quite what had happened.‬

‪I want every child in Britain to learn about the Holocaust and to understand just how vital it is to fight discrimination and prejudice in our world.‬

‪It is vital that we do all we can with our international partners to preserve the site at Auschwitz, which I will be visiting later this year.‬

‪But we need to do more.‬

‪That is why I have set up the Holocaust Commission in Britain. A number of the Commissioners are here with Ben and me today and as we visit Yad Vashem together later today, our pledge to Ben will be that Britain will never forget what he and his fellow survivors have taught us.‬

‪We will preserve the memory of that generation for every generation to come.‬

‪But remembering the past goes far beyond that horrific suffering of a generation.‬

‪It is about remembering the long and rightful search of a people for a nation. ‪And the right for the Jewish people to live a peaceful and prosperous life in Israel.

Don’t Miss This Interview: “I Don’t Like Repeat Offenders… I Like Dead Offenders”

Editor’s Note: The following interview with Ted Nugent is a must-watch and one you’ll want to share with family and friends, especially those who don’t agree with our natural right to preserve and defend our lives. We challenge any advocate of restrictive gun legislation to put forth a logical argument to counter the natural laws highlighted by Nugent. We’re fairly certain no such argument could be made on the merits, despite the fact that the Huffington Post once referred to him and his ideas as “toxic” to the Republican Party and “like a machine gun that riddles his own troops with friendly fire” in an effort to suggest Nugent is a madman whose ideas are supported only by a minority of radical, bible toting, gun carrying fringe lunatics on the extreme right of the modern day political spectrum.

Via The Daily Sheeple:

There are so many quotable gems in this video of the incomparable Ted Nugent that we don’t even know where to begin. Here are a few favorites:

“I don’t need a document, and I don’t need another man to explain to me, that I have a right to defend my gift of life.”

“There is an argument in America … from a whole gaggle of numbnuts who would try to tell me that they will dictate where, how, and if I can defend myself. I find that preposterous. I find it unacceptable and I will not accept it.”

“The Second Amendment of our Bill of Rights is my concealed weapons permit, period.”

“I don’t like repeat offenders, I like dead offenders.”

Somehow, these statements are seen by many as outrageous.  The gun control advocates really aren’t fans of intelligence and common sense. (Remember this hysterically funny video of Cali Senator Kevin de Leon attempting dramatic effect with no facts whatsoever?) If Mr. Nugent was the one making the laws, we’re quite sure that violent crime rates in America would plummet.

Shooting Wisdom From a Pro: “I Carry a Gun ‘Cause a Cop Is Too Heavy”

clint-heidi-smithClint Smith served two tours in Vietnam, worked as a police officer, was a member of SWAT, directed training at leading gun manufacturing firms, is an instructor of advanced weapons and tactics, and now runs Thunder Ranch, a facility in Oregon designed specifically for avid gun shooters. If you want to learn how to fire a gun and what to do in life and death situations Mr. Smith is the person you’d want as an instructor. (He’s pictured next to his wife to the left, along with Mrs. Smith’s 338 Laupa)

Over the years he’s has passed on scores of insights and words of wisdom, some via numerous instructional videos. Here are some of his key thoughts on guns, gun ownership, and life in general assembled from across the web:

Don’t forget, incoming fire has the right of way.

If you carry a gun, people will call you paranoid. That’s ridiculous. If I have a gun, what in the hell do I have to be paranoid about.

Make your attacker advance through a wall of bullets. I may get killed with my own gun, but he’s gonna have to beat me to death with it, cause it’s going to be empty.

If you’re not shootin’, you should be loadin’. If you’re not loadin, you should be movin’, if you’re not movin’, someone’s gonna cut your head off and put it on a stick.

The only purpose of fighting is to Win!

Shoot what’s available, as long as it’s available, until something else becomes available.

When you reload in low light encounters, don’t put your flashlight in your back pocket… If you light yourself up, you’ll look like an angel or the tooth fairy…and you’re gonna be one of ‘em pretty soon.

The handgun would not be my choice of weapon if I knew I was going to a fight I’d choose a rifle, a shotgun, an RPG or an atomic bomb instead.

Nothing adds a little class to a sniper course like a babe in a Ghillie suit.

Don’t shoot fast, shoot good.

You have the rest of your life to solve your problems. How long you live depends on how well you do it.

You cannot save the planet.. You may be able to save yourself and your family.

There is no possible victory in defense.

The sword is more important than the shield, and skill is more important than either.

The final weapon is the brain. All else is supplemental.

Don’t pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to fight, he’ll just kill you.

If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck.

I carry a gun cause a cop is too heavy.

When seconds count, the cops are just minutes away.

An armed man will kill an unarmed man with monotonous regularity.

The old sheriff was attending an awards dinner when a lady commented on his wearing his sidearm. ‘Sheriff, I see you have your pistol. Are you expecting trouble?’ ‘No ma’am. If I were expecting trouble, I would have brought my rifle.’

Beware the man who only has one gun. He probably knows how to use it!

You can say ‘stop’ or ‘alto’ or use any other word you think will work but I’ve found that a large bore muzzle pointed at someone’s head is pretty much the universal language.
