REALITY TV: Watch as small company employees find out what Obamacare is doing to their coverage

“They call it the affordable health plan. There’s nothing affordable about it. I can’t afford it.

A local news station brings viewers inside one Pennsylvania company as the employees there learn about their new health care plans under Obamacare…

“Look at the numbers,” says the reporter of two employees. “Jeff and Dave used to have a $ 1,250 deductible. Since Obamacare went into effect, it’s now jumped 60 percent to $ 2,000. That’s nothing compared to Brian, Kristi, and Judy who have kids. they are going to pay twice that, four grand.” The reporter adds that co-pays are being increased, too.

“I don’t know how President Obama thinks he’s helping us because we can’t afford this, we can’t afford to pay these co-pays, to pay these deductibles on what we’re making,” says one of the workers.

Now pretend you’re in the GOP Establishment.

What would you do to exploit the tidal wave of rage washing over the countryside as Americans discover what socialized medicine really means?

If you answered “Pass Amnesty for Illegal Aliens“, you have a future working for Karl Rove and the Chamber of Crony Capitalism.

*GASP* Michelle Obama’s Classmate is Top Executive at Company That Built the Worst Website Ever

Cue the Solyndra executives slapping themselves on the foreheads as they wonder why they went into solar panels when building a non-functional, $ 400 million website would be much, much easier. Patrick Howley has all of the details.

First Lady Michelle Obama’s Princeton classmate is a top executive at the company that earned the contract to build the failed Obamacare website.

Toni Townes-Whitley, Princeton class of ’85, is senior vice president at CGI Federal, which earned the no-bid contract to build the $ 678 million Obamacare enrollment website at Healthcare.gov. CGI Federal is the U.S. arm of a Canadian company.

Townes-Whitley and her Princeton classmate Michelle Obama are both members of the Association of Black Princeton Alumni.

…As reported by the Washington Examiner in early October, the Department of Health and Human Services reviewed only CGI’s bid for the Obamacare account. CGI was one of 16 companies qualified under the Bush administration to provide certain tech services to the federal government. A senior vice president for the company testified this week before The House Committee on Energy and Commerce that four companies submitted bids, but did not name those companies or explain why only CGI’s bid was considered…

These Chicago politicians are truly something to behold. In a sane society, the entire crew would be the subject of a RICO indictment.

JUST PEACHY: Boehner and Company Secretly Working to Put a Stake in the Heart of the GOP Once and for All

Just hours ago, Erick Erickson — whose ear is among the closest to the group inside the Beltway — warns that the House GOP is preparing for a full-fledged surrender in the battle over the Continuing Resolution.

This is just embarrassing. The House GOP has refused to fight on Obamacare. Right now they are going through an elaborate dance routine, complete with leotards and streamers, to show everyone they are really fighting for something.

They’ve gone through so many iterations, no one is really sure what it is they are fighting for, but it is for certain they are not fighting to defund Obamacare.

stop negotiating with yourself, get into the shutdown, then dare the Democrats to refuse to continue to negotiate. Negotiating with yourselves is embarrassing.

Stand your ground, stop whittling down your proposal, and fight… Or just pass a clean CR, own the suck, stop wasting everybody’s time, and move on.

Oh, and it gets better. While everyone’s attention is diverted onto Obamacare Kabuki Theater, House leadership is still trying to pass Amnesty!

…The chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, Rep. Bob Goodlatte, has been discussing possible legal status for the estimated 11 million immigrants living in the U.S. illegally. He’s also been working with House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, a fellow Virginia Republican, on a bill offering citizenship to immigrants brought illegally to the U.S. as children.

Reps. Raul Labrador, R-Idaho, and Ted Poe, R-Texas, are working on a plan to create a visa program allowing more lower-skilled workers into the country… Goodlatte and the chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, Rep. Mike McCaul, R-Texas, hold out hopes for floor action by late October on a series of immigration bills that already have passed their committees.

What a bunch of freaking idiots.

And, once again, I ask the following question of the GOP establishment:

With all due respect, of course.
